Legendary Wu-Tang Clan rapper and producer, RZA, is taking a step away from the booth to try his hand at acting/directing. While this may come off as a bit odd, everything we've seen of the upcoming film so far looks great.
The film, The Man with the Iron Fists, was written by both RZA and Hostel director Eli Roth -- and is also being “presented” by Quentin Tarantino. The film takes place in a fictional feudal China, sometime in the past, and sees a blacksmith (RZA) fighting for his freedom and life. The film looks like something that Tarantino would create, but its clear that this is RZA's creation as it has his styling all over it, something that is evident in the red-band trailer below. The film also stars Academy Award winner Russel Crowe and Lucy Liu.
So far this action flick is looking like a breath of fresh air. Filled with heavy style, brutal action, and world-class acting, The Man with the Iron Fists is quickly becoming one of our most anticipated films. Here's hoping it will live up to the hype.
