Stay hungry, stay foolish...

As huge fan on technology - ok fine, nerd - it truly saddens me to hear the news of Steve Jobs passing. Honestly I haven't really followed Jobs too much but I've always appreciated his role as a leader and pioneer in the industry of technology. I remember seeing some incredible interviews with him on television over the years and his personality has always intrigued me. This past Tuesday (October 2nd) I was tracking the conference Apple held debuting the latest iPhone and I was almost expecting Jobs to make an appearance himself - as he is known for his leadership and figure-head roles during these events. So news of his death, to me, seemed sudden and out of nowhere.

If you're a fan of technology or especially Apple products then you have to admire Job's dedication and creativity. He paved the way for the creation of today's most popular gadgets, such as the iPod, iPhone and iPad. His presence as a pioneer and innovator in the tech industry will never be over-looked. Some people called him the Leonardo Di Vinci of our time, I believe that's an accurate comparison. Here's to you Steve Jobs, may history forever remember you.

Here's my favorite quote from Steve Jobs:

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

God Bless, rest in peace Mr. Jobs.
