The long-awaited trailer for
Oblivion has finally arrived. The upcoming sci-fi film is based on a graphic novel of the same name by Joseph Kosinski. Kosinski is also the director of the film, with this being only his second time in the director's chair; he was responsible for 2010's reboot of the Tron franchise with
Tron: Legacy. Kosinki's latest sci-fi adventure stars Tom Cruise as Jack Harper, a man who returns to a desolate Earth to repair drones that are located on the planet. A run-in with an unexpected traveler causes him to question what he knows about the planet, his mission, and himself.
Tom Cruise isn't the only big name attached to the film; Morgan Freeman also plays a key role. Expect Oblivion to be one the Spring's biggest films when it arrives in theaters on April 26th.
