You know that when a film's trailer stops you in your tracks then it is something special. Such is the case for the International trailer for Jacques Audiard's Rust and Bone (De Rouille et D'os).
The film tells the story of a female (Marion Cotillard) Killer Whale trainer who loses her legs after a tragic accident, struggles with her loss, and is eventually reborn with through a relationship with a street-fighting single father played by Matthias Schoenaerts. Within this brief trailer Cotillard (without any dialogue) manages to completely sell the film. Her ability to act has already been established but with this film she seems to have found a whole new level. Expect Marion and this film to be big players at next year's Academy Awards.
