No the above trailer is not for the upcoming GTA live-action film, even though the teaser's visuals are enough to make you think otherwise. Instead this is a trailer for the next-gen re-release of Rockstar Game's open-world epic Grand Theft Auto 5.
GTA 5 originally hit last generation platforms last September to not only critical success but commercial success. When the game launched it broke 6 sales records: including the highest revenue generated by an entertainment product in 24 hours and the fastest entertainment property to gross $1 billion - not to bad if you ask us.
With the next-gen re-release Rockstar aims to deliver not only one of the most exciting and immersive experiences available to gamers but push the entire series forth thanks to the power of next generation consoles. Just one of the many updates coming to the game is featured in the above trailer; the addition of a first-person gameplay mode - a series first for GTA. Players can expect a hell of a ride come November 18th when GTA arrives... again.
