You've heard of the Avengers right? And The Fast and The Furious franchise? Of course you have. Both series have highly anticipated sequels set for release next year. What you may have missed though is the recent trailers that dropped for both films.
Up first is Joss Whedon's sequel to 2012's impressive Avenger's debut. The sequel, Age of Ultron, sees its all-star casts don their superhero personas once more as the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell bent on human extinction. Along the way they will also confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers. Of course the trailer is a visual feast. We've come to expect a lot of our action films these day; we have no doubt Whedon will deliver with his upcoming blockbuster.
Below the Fast and the Furious gang reunite for their official 7th outing. The film follows in the wake of events from 2013's Fast and Furious 6. Now Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew for the death of his brother. The series has certainly had its ups and downs, but director James Wan seems to finally be crafting the series into something special; a feat considering the tragic passing of one of the film's lead actors last year. The trailer features just as much action and beautiful cars as expected. Here's hoping the crew can deliver in 2015.
