The tagline for the upcoming action/thriller Dead Man Down is "blood demands blood." By what we can gather from the film's first trailer, something or someone is certainly demanding blood. Terrace Howard stars as a New York crime lord with a furious wrath. Colin Farrel plays Howard's right-hand man caught in between his boss and Noomi Rapace's character, a woman seeking revenge.
Stylistically the film looks brilliant. It comes from director Niels Arden Oplev, better known for his directorial work on the original Girl with a Dragon Tattoo series. Dead Man Down marks his first film made for American audiences. If the finished film is as good as its trailer looks then it won't be one to miss when it arrives in theaters March 8th.
