Tripoli Gallery recently announced that they would be showcasing an exhibition to feature artist Lola Montes Schnabel. The exhibit is being called "Within Reach." Schnabel will use Within Reach to explore the most primal and paradoxical human instincts, the desire to be boundless.
The series of oil paintings and watercolors are abstract in design, whose landscapes and figures are always connected, bound by a kindred condition. As one painting leads to the next, landmasses morph into figures and a progression is revealed. Each painting continues the conversation the last began.
