Monday (3/12/12) Jay-Z performed a live concert for a packed house in Austin for the South by Southwest showing. If Jay-Z fans thought his appearance at last year's South by Southwest Music Festival was a big deal, his first-ever solo performance was the opener to end all opening events.
The event, sponsored by American Express, was the first of its kind. By using twitter and the hash-tag JayZSyncShow fans could tweet which song they wanted Jay to perform next.
