Childish Gambino is back and just as good as ever, if not better. After dropping his debut album, Camp, last November many fans and critics were eager to see what the Actor/Rapper/Writer would do next.
Royalty is Childish's 2012 summer mixtape, but don't let the term "mixtape" mislead you: this is a full-fledged album. 18 tracks with features from some of hip-hops most-noted including the RZA and Bun-B, there's even a feature from Beck. Of course CG is the main feature here, and he delivers. Gambino has really found his voice on Royalty; delivering some of his greatest lines on tracks like 'One Up,' 'Black Faces,' and 'They Don't Like.'
