There's a certian artistry to making a great movie trailer. Sometimes they are amazing, sometimes they're forgetful at best, and sometimes they end up being better than the full film. We certainly hope that's not the case for End of Watch, but after watching the films debut trailer a couple dozen times it's got a lot to live up to.
Luckily the films got a few things that make us feel comfortable it will deliver; namely Jake Gyllenhall, Micael Pena, and director David Ayer. As the writer who penned both Training Day and S.W.A.T, David Ayer is no newcomer to the cop-drama genre. We're hopeful this new film of his is more along the lines of the former, as S.W.A.T left a little something to be desired.
