Scratching the Surface

In 2002 Microsoft forever changed the gaming industry by introducing the Xbox. Now it seems they plan on doing the same thing for tablets with the introduction of 'Microsoft Surface.'

Surface is Microsoft's long-awaited answer to the phenomenon that is the iPad. Introduced as a cross between tablets and ultrabook PCs, Microsoft has shown off models with 10.6-inch widescreen displays, built-in kickstands to make them stand upright and keypads that attach magnetically.

From a stellar design to running Windows 8, Surface truly is the final convergence between the laptop and tablet device. Being that must have, do-all device is exactly what Microsoft is looking to do with Surface. A tablet with a full-fledged OS; one capable of entertaining on the go and serving as a fully-capable PC when docked.
