No one likes seeing the same thing over and over again. We get bored, become jaded, you know how it goes. Innovation is always welcomed, even when it only comes in a small degree. Such is the case with Sam O'Hare's "The Sandpit."
While the niche is familiar (time-lapse photography), the formula has been modified. Rather than shoot and cut an average time-lapse film, photographer Sam O'Hare has added one slight effect to his work; a tilt-shift. While not technically employing 'tilt-shift photography', Sam's technique has a similar effect; making the New York City landscape and inhabitants appear miniature.
