Without a doubt The Avengers was one of this years biggest and most talked about blockbusters. So you would be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't seen or heard anything from the films massive marketing campaign. Below, however, are six posters designed for the film that have received little to any attention.
It's a shame these designs have been so overlooked. Featuring retro-inspired stylings with each piece being dedicated to one of the films many heroes - or heroine in the case of the Black Widow - these posters are gorgeous in every category. They remind us of the old-school film posters from the 70's and 80's, back before Photoshop when these were hand-drawn and entirely unique to themselves. Here's hoping they make a comeback.
